"Microphones in 2020" records are back in print

Good morning.

The announcements today are not big deals. (Incidentally, maybe if I were ever to get a tattoo, it would say NO BIG DEAL, maybe across my knuckles like a tough guy. I like the reminder that nothing’s ever that much of a big deal, it helps. But I won’t get a tattoo. Anyway…)

Today it’s just a couple little pieces of information.

#1- Microphones in 2020 is back in print on vinyl after a while of being sold out. We finally got a fresh batch from the pressing plant and they are available for pre-order as we gather the last few components. Not only that but today is the new special holiday called “Bandcamp Friday” where when you buy things from musicians’ Bandcamp stores, the company waives their usual fee for the day, thus inching the artists closer toward self-sufficiency. It’s great. It’s a good day to load up. I have some things in my shopping card already. Please consider getting my record there, or anything really. (You can also get it direct from my website.)

#2- Like I said before, I’m working on setting up a few shows coming up. One has been announced so far:
May 6th, 2023- Brooklyn, NY- Pioneer Works, Long Play Fest, curated by Bang On A Can (tickets)
