Gee whiz, another banger of a book auction. Thanks bidders! I was able to send $202.50 to First Nations Development Institute.
I know I’m abusing your email inbox with all these blings and dingdongs, but here’s another micro-newsletter saying:
LAST BOOK ON AUCTION NOW HERE.
This one will benefit the Na’ah Illahee Fund, “an Indigenous women-led organization that serves as a bridge builder, facilitator, and resource partner as we work to catalyze a movement toward positive futures." Radical. Go on, get it.
I promise the next newsletter will be more juicy and generous, not asking too much of you. Maybe I’ll send you some pictures of the barely illuminated damp dark days we’ve been having here. Maybe I’ll do a bunch of typing about some fixation of mine. Maybe it will be about the tinkering I’ve been doing (again) with this huge gong and way-too-big-of-a-subwoofer.
Have a good darkest time of the year (Northern Hemisphere exclusive content), a good candlenights, a good birth of Mithras, a good Winter Nights, a good Saturnalia, etc.
bye,
Phil
My vote is for the subwoofer. I'm in an apt and can't get a good one because I'm not a bad neighbor. I dont really write or play music but have been seriously considering scoping out venues with really good PA systems and also open mics night just to abuse the subwoofers. Always love it when bands take a moment to really lay on the sub-bass.
