This releases the DAY BEFORE FREAKOUT FEST. (Which is when my neighborhood hangouts become overrun by incredible weird bands I've never heard of.) So excited!
The peace + not worrying too much about what people will think combo is where all the really cool stuff happens. It's a great place to be.
I remember when I got my ears pierced at 16 after breaking up with my high school boyfriend. I hated needles but I was brave and got through it..... until afterwards as I walked towards the exit, past the packed waiting room filled with other teen girls and fainted at their feet as my adrenaline rush came crashing down. Smacked my head on the concrete floor and scared a few customers.
