Thanks for re-posterity-izing the 2003 list onto the web. I remember seeing it one day on the old old PWElverumSun website with the .com/2003 hotlink and thinking it was a cool idea.

I write down good things that happen to me on a small notepad I carry with me and put it in a jar when I get home, and pour the jar out and read them at the end of every year to remind myself of the not-so-badness that got me here. I am doing that tonight, though the past-myselfs did all the hard writing-while-remembering work for me.

Thank you ! I like the idea of journaling in this way. Moments of the day & week. All the inside jokes & special tidbits & deep profound things too. Chronological, bulleted mosaic-type memoir

I had a similar "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" moment this year listening while driving around the Mountain Loop Hwy in the Washington Cascades. Really is the perfect thing.

Lots of great music on this list, can't wait to check out the rest. Cheers

I second Cave of Forgotten Dreams as excellent driving music.

It has an often overwhelmingly

spiritual quality to it that really lends itself to driving at dawn, dusk or through amazing scenery.

I truly adore these compositions and recordings.

The other wonderful thing about this album is the incredible performances by the musicians.

In this age of so much digitally created music (which I also love) it’s so good to hear recordings, like this, of expert musicians playing their instruments in a beautiful space together.

Every sound and gesture is unique, everything is vibrating with life and breathing in loose, natural rhythms.

To me this album is profoundly moving, just as the film it was written for is.

I’d love to learn of any other albums with similarly beautiful performances recorded well and in tribute to the space it was recorded in.
